- H.G. is stirring up the dust in Miss App’s parlor again!
H.G. dropped in today and took Miss Applesassy back in time for lunch. He kindly offered introduction to a charming gentleman by the name of Samuel Morse. Apparently on this day of January 6th, 1838, Mr. Morse invented Twitter. Of course in its early stages the device was referred to by the name of Morse Code. Pity the previous name was unable to withstand the test of time, but Miss Apps assured the good Mr. Morse his concept remains just as much the social rage today as it was when he announced his texting invention to the pre-weebinized world.
If you are not availing yourself to the use of this tapeless tickering wonder, Miss Applesassy suggests you Twitterfy forthwith.
